You may have noticed I often mention that newborn sessions are done within the first two weeks of life.  Ideally around 10 days old is great.  That is because this is truly the best window in which to get those sleepy, curly and womb-like newborn images.  Babies are still mainly sleeping the day away during this time and are easily posed without being bothered.  After 2 weeks or so they become more alert and are awake for longer periods of time.   That being said, when babies arrive early and surprise everyone, we have a little bit more leeway on that 2-week window and can push it further.  Such was the case with this little guy.  He came into this world 6 weeks early and I got to meet him at 23 days old.  Posing was a bit tricky but he did great, I thought.  🙂  More of him to come later but for now, here are just a couple of sneaks….
