This is it.  Week 52 of Project 52!  It’s amazing to me that we are at the end of 2011 already.  I am so so glad that I took part in this little project with so many talented photographers.  I have loved seeing their photos every week and getting to know everyone.  It has been a challenge at times and I certainly didn’t post every single week but I am so glad to be here on Week 52 to close it out.  It feels good!  I am excited for 2012.  Looking forward to another personal project next year as well as meeting more amazing clients and growing my little business.

We had an open theme this week since everyone is trying to make their way out of the holiday fog..haha!  I have some random photos from our holiday break to share.

We all went to see ICE! at the Gaylord Palms.  The theme this year was Shrek the Halls.  My oldest with my dad. 

My son is happy here but oh boy…he was NOT happy having to put this giant parka on.  It was a battle of the wills!  Eventually he forgot about it and was having fun looking at all the ice sculptures.

Oh my!!  Is it really Week 51 of this project??  I’m bummed I have had to miss a few weeks this Fall but I’ve been incredibly busy with lots of beautiful sessions this Fall.  We are now at the very end of this project and even though I missed some weeks here and there I am happy to be finishing it out!  One more week….

Our theme this week is “tis the season”.   I’ve been, of course, trying to document this holiday season with my kiddos.  One of the things my kids love and I started a few years ago is the Elf on the Shelf.  I’m sure many of you are familiar with this little tradition by now.  It’s become quite popular and I love seeing all the creative things moms do with it all over Facebook and Pinterest.   I have not been quite as creative but our Elfie arrived on December 1st and my kids have loved it again this year. It’s such a fun little tradition.
