It’s a new year and therefore time for a new project! If you followed along on my blog last year you know that I participated in Project 52 with a wonderful group of photographers from all over the country! It was a great experience and even though it was tough at times to keep up with the weekly challenges, I am glad I made it through to the end. This year, many of us wanted to continue with another project but also needed to lighten the load a bit. We also wanted a project that focused more on our families and documenting our lives since we spend so much time documenting the lives of our newborn, and family clients and often neglect our own family’s photos! So, we decided to do a monthly project. We will have themes for those of us who want to follow a theme but will also leave it open so everyone can share what speaks to them that month. This is our first 12 in 2012 post and the theme was a self-portrait! I had a little fun playing with some sun flare in the car with my iPhone the other day.
